WIN FREE LOOT: Outlaw Rewards “Hot Nerd Girl Calendar” Contest – July 2013

Is it just me, or do the slippers make her even hotter?

Yeah, I know what you are all thinking:  why has Geek Outlaw recently stopped trying to buy my semi-loyal readership with his Outlaw Rewards contests?

While I am tempted to resort to the normal excuses like, “the dog ate my computer,” or “aliens abducted and probed me in not so pleasant areas” — the plain and simple truth is time is an unforgiving speed demon that only provides me so many precious minutes to devote to give you incredible giveaways.

Like any good Outlaw though, I’m getting back on my proverbial horse to start offering some great prizes over the next few months.

That all starts this month – or half month at this point as it stands – with the July-ish Outlaw Rewards two-week Outlaw Rewards contest. Being that we are in the middle of a very hot summer, I felt it was only fitting to give away Hot Nerd Girl’s very first professional calendar!

In all it’s signed glory!

Granted, it’s for 2013 and most people are already making their New Year’s plans for 2014, but free is free and nerds can’t be choosers! Regardless, this is the inaugural edition of the calendar and it’s personally signed by the “Hot One” herself, so this is bound to be worth something on eBay in the not too distant future.

(Lord knows I’ve got mine ready to be auctioned off any day now.  Luckily she doesn’t ready this blog!)

If that wasn’t nerdy enough, I’m also giving each winner a signed soft cover copy of J. Meredith Harmon’s first ever novel Snyper: A Matter of Caliber.

If you know how to read, this novel is well worth the time.

Due to the fact I’m in the giving mood, I’m also throwing in a set of Geek Outlaw and Hot Nerd Girl stickers to sweeten the pot.  As always, I will cover the freight as well.

Collect the whole set…
… of two.

I’ve got not one, not two, but THREE of these packages to give away, and all you have to do is respond with what cosplay you would love to see Geek Outlaw do for a potential calendar.  Mind you, I’m about as hot as an ice cube in Alaska, so asking me to dress up like  from 300 is probably not going to be easy on the eyes for anyone.  That being said, the three best responses win.

Probably not what you want Hot Nerd Girl to dress up as…

That’s it!  Any easier and I’d just keep the calendars myself (and don’t think that I won’t.)

Submit your responses to the comments below by Midnight (PST) of August 4, 2013 for your chance to win!  (You also must Like Geek Outlaw on Facebook and be an e-mail subscriber to the site GeekOutlaw.com to be eligible.)

Best of luck fellow Outlaws! (Although seeing as I have 15 total subscribers, you probably don’t need it.)

  1. Chef Slayton says:

Ok… I think HNG should do the twelve doctors of Dr. Who! That would be totally brilliant!

  2. Jason Padrick says:

Geek Outlaw as Jack O’Neill. Or a Babylon 5 Ranger.

  3. Dustin Dean says:

I had a few ideas. The first that came to mind is Woody from Toy Story, the hat made me think of it. You could do Pincus, would make for a dark shot(possibly for October). Giorgio A. Tsoukalos would be funny or Ned Flanders.

    • Geek Outlaw says:

Actually Woody from Toy Story is a great idea for this Outlaw… I saw one at SDCC that was pretty cool. (He was with a very sexy version of Buzz too). Ned Flanders would be great too since I say okily dokily all the time as well!

All that said, while you didn’t make the top 3, if you email me your address info to GeekOutlaw@Outlook.com, I’ll get some consolation stickers to you in the mail ASAP!

  4. Kevin Cook says:

Sorry to bother ya again, but I never win these types of things. I enter tons of contests and the only one I ever won was a contest no one but me entered ROFL. Yep that’s sad. But, be that as it may I will give it a shot. Not everyday someone gets a chance to win a HNG calender. But if I did win I would settle for just one pic with her autograph on it, I wouldn’t be greedy. Anyway sorry to bother ya, thanks for those stickers you sent me when you said I knew a ghostbuster reference a while back. Uhm You could always do Johnny Depp as Barnabas Collins from Dark Shadows. You might even convince HNG to sneak in that pic as the woman he loved through time. Be kewl to see both of you dressed that way.

    • Geek Outlaw says:

Oh Kevin! While your submission didn’t quite crack my top 10, I did kind of enjoy Dark Shadows and your sob story really did tug at my heart strings.

That said, I’m going to get a signed HNG Calendar out your way (no signed book though) as a runner-up… Err, nix that, a 4th place prize!

Email your info again to GeekOutlaw@outlook.com and I’ll make sure HNG gets one out to you ASAP!

  5. MIchelle H. says:

I think the crew of the Serenity would be fun!

  6. dress up like the guys from big bang theory

  7. You should be Rick Grimes from the Walking Dead!

  8. Hmmmm….Farscape comes to mind. Hot Nerd Girl as Aeryn Sun and/or Chiana. Maybe sneak in Geek Outlaw as Astronaut, John Crichton.

  9. Rick Deckard from Blade Runner.

  10. Stacy Thibert says:

I’d ask Hot Nerd Girl to join you for a little Buffy the Vampire Slayer cosplay… you get to be Angel, Spike, Xander, and Giles, while she plays Buffy and Willow. Fire bad, tree pretty.

  11. I have always wanted to try and do an Austin Tejas cosplay from Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock and would love to see someone else’s take on it.

  12. Kvothe from The Kingkiller Chronicle!

  13. Brad Waldoch says:

Firefly would suit you. Bonus points for trying to do Jayne Cobb dressed up as Kaylee.

    • Geek Outlaw says:

I think you are on to something… but something about dressing up as the girl I have a huge space crush on? Hmmm….

  14. She should do different uniforms from all the Star Trek series!!

  15. You should do Rick Grimes from The Walking Dead. You already have the stubble going on and everything!

    • Geek Outlaw says:

Joe, funny you should mention it because I was getting so many comments that I looked like Anthony Lincoln just in my Outlaw gear, it prompted me to put together one of the most screen accurate Sheriff Grimes outfits you’ve ever seen. It will be on display for Halloween coming up soon and I’ll make sure to get a couple of professional shots in it for good measure to share with the community ;) With Indy and Ghostbusters costumes in my possession, Can a Calendar be far behind?

Sorry again for the delay PartNerd, but it’s been a crazy month!

  16. You’re the Geek Outlaw, John Crichton is the clear choice. While you are at it, you could suggest to HNG that any of the female characters of Farscape would look great in the next calendar.

  17. I think she should dress up as you, Geek Outlaw, and you should dress up as Hot Nerd Girl (Slave Leia style???)

  18. Stephanie says:

The month of May should be Star Wars. You should do 3-CPO and HNG as R2-D2. May the fourth be with you! You could also do X-men as Cyclops. I’d also like to see LOTR as Frodo or Pippin (Everyone wants to be a hobbit!)

  19. Aragon, from LotR

  20. You should TOTALLY be a Jedi, A ghostbuster, and maybe…maybe a browncoat , with serenity flying over you in the background. That would be an epic outlaw pic

    • Geek Outlaw says:

Aaron, that would be epic! So epic in fact you are one of the winners of the Outlaw Rewards contest for July 2013!

  21. It would be brilliant to see a Klingon cosplay, maybe Ambassador k’Ehleyr from TNG

  22. Joseph Rose says:

I am thinking a nice X files Mulder (maybe Not nerd Girl would cameo as Scully) would be awesome.

    • Geek Outlaw says:

Joseph, I like your style (as it’s my favorite show of all time!)
